Screening for Fluorescence phenotype on the adult eyes (CNY370 per Service Quantity): For Plan B/C/H/I/K/M/N/RH/RI/E/F, screen for fluorescence phenotype (CFP or GFP or YFP or RFP/DsRed) on the adult eyes. This can be combined with the w+ or y+ screening or can be the solo screening of the transformation.
Screening for vermilion phenotype (CNY370 per Service Quantity): This is usually associated with Plan H/I. The injection can be done at vermilion- strains as well as the autosomal attP，vermilion+ PhiC31 strains.
Screening for "Loss of Something" phenotype (CNY740 per Service Quantity): This has to be ordered with balancing service, e.g. Plan I. When setting up this type of crosses the balancer line has to be used.
Special handling fee for flies other than w1118, yw, listed landing site lines or listed Cas9 lines (CNY740): We will charge an extra handling fee of ￥740 for the first time you send us the flies. After we finish the project we will keep the flies for three months for your future orders. If you send next order after that period you will have to pay ￥740 again. Or you may send us an email to discuss the schedule of the new orders. Special strain does not qualify for the "trying to get at least 1 independant transformant" term.
Shipping Fee (CNY60 above per shipment): If you choose to use our shipping account, the charge is ￥60 + additional rate domestically per shipment. If you would like to use your own account, please provide your account number. In some rare cases, if re-ship is required/requested, you have to pay shipping fee again. The customer is responsible for the shipping costs including Dead on Arrival (DOA).
Handling Fee (CNY60 RMB per order): We only charge a ￥50 flat rate handling fee per order for domestic customers, no matter how many services are purchased. For instance, if you purchase three of the "Plan B", the total charge including handling fee will only be 3x￥1790+￥60=￥5430.
Screening extra number of transformants (CNY30 per transformant): Screen for more than default number of independent lines (10 for Plan B/C, 5 for Plan H/I/RH/RI/E/F), ￥30 per additional lines. e.g. if one Plan B generated 35 lines you will be charged (35-10)x￥30=￥750 on top of the ￥1790 regular Plan B price. If the extra Plan B/E lines needs to be balanced, the charge will be additional ￥110 per line, If the extra Plan H lines needs to be balanced, the charge will be additional ￥74 per line
PCR confirmation for plasmids (CNY240 + CNY80 per additional reaction): Quality control restriction enzyme digestions (QC RE check) for verification of new DNA prep made at Unihuaii is free. However, if you also wish to check the PCR of the new DNA prep, please send us your primers and the charge is ￥240 + ￥80 per additional reaction.
Sequencing confirmation for plasmids purified by our in-house DNA preps (CNY370 + CNY150 per additional reaction): Quality control restriction enzyme digestions (QC RE check) for verification of new DNA prep made at Unihuaii is free. However, if your plasmid has potential unstable sequence and you wish to get it sequenced before the injection, we may send out the in-house prepped plasmid for sequencing using your indicated primer(s). This service is non-refundable since it is done by outside providers. The charge is ￥370 (first reaction) + ￥150 per additional reaction.
Sequencing for gRNA target site / SNP before Plan RG/RH/RI injection (CNY740 + CNY240 per additional strain): If you wish to check SNP(s) at gRNA target site of the injection strain before ordering Plan RG/RH/RI, we may make genomic DNA extract of the selected strain, perform PCR reaction with primers appropriate for sequencing the gRNA target site. The raw data ONLY, containing the target site sequencing traces of the PCR fragment, will be sent to you by email. The charge is ￥740 (first strain), in the case of one gRNA checking for multiple strains, we will charge ￥240 per additional strain.
order generated transformant stock-keeping fee (CNY60 per line per month): We keep backups for 2-4 weeks after the shipping date. If you request to keep the stock beyond this period the extended stock-keeping fee may apply. The minimum charge unit is 1 line/month (month = calendar month, e.g. 3/4 - 4/3 = one month, 2/27 - 3/27 = two months).
Other services fees: There are no hidden fees! The fees are listed. However, we will inform you in advance if there is additional work needed to be performed.
Current Promotions
No discount for handling fee and shipping fee.
For customers from companies, there is no discount. Services will be performed after the full payment.
For customers from universities and institutes, currently there are below TWO promotions:
- Pre-pay orders (25% off): For customers, charge their account prior to their ordering. The first time deposit is at least CNY30,000.
- Immediate payment orders (20% off): immediate full payment orders submitted together with your order form.
